Strange.....I will (tomorrow) get my head around that.

Digging deeper I see that a km is 3.11 miles which explains the increase in yardage from 176 to 184🤔

Replying to myself, that should read 5km is 3.11 miles🤔

Bayonne is inland a bit, a few miles from the coast, Bieritz is on the coast, a great beach and loads of surfers there as the Atlantic rollers were coming in.

When i worked for Shell (a lifetime ago) my biggest customer** was based in Bieritz so, sadly, I was forced to have expenses paid visits each year.
**he and his father were Basque and members of the Seperative group. The father only spoke the Basque language so the son translated. They were good company.

Good morning from a soon to be sunny Dorset. Mrs Tkk has an 8am pilates class so will be out and about. I packed the Yorkshire Parkin that I made, a packet of drinking chocolate from Bare Bones in Glasgow and a big bar of chocolate into a carrier bag yesterday, planning on taking with me when I went to collect granddaughter from school. I put the bag in a prominent position near the door so I wouldn't forget to take it and of course was on the bus before I realised that I had left it behind.

Still in shorts, even though its starting to get chilly out. I slipped into strides yesterday but was too warm so reverted to shorts an hour later.
