Are you sure ?

His nickname is Bob after all.

Way back when a bobby I know was out on a foot patrol doon by the river one evening. He decided to pop out of sight for a crafty fag before strolling back to the nick when a dead body floated past. He was tempted to say nothing and get home on time - after all, the guy was already dead - but he called it in and was late home for his dinner.

My epistle for the day.....
Here's a funny/strange thing.
I've had a text from the Spire (private hospital) to attend an appointment.
I knew nothing about it so phoned them. After some checking they told it was to check a lump on my right side.
I told them 'wrong person' but they had all my details plus Doctors referral from JUNE !!
Phoned the Doc who looked into it.
It goes back to me showing a wart type thing on my thighs to the pharmacist.....thinking he might sell me something.
He said he didnt want to diagnose it and I guess must have asked my details.
He then, apparently contacted my Doctor who contacted the Spire.

It might have been nice if someone had told me what's going on.
Anyway my appointment is January 😱

Ife had poor experiences with Spire.

So have I.
After my bladder cancer I had to have regular camera checks and of corse the only way in was by shoving a camera up the old John Thomas.
It was normally a female nurse and she was good.
One time, for some reason, I was sent to the Spire....jeez, he was rough. Afterwards my poor old JT was bleeding.
After that i refused to have it done there.

They did the op on my shoulder, the dibble paid as it had been a work injury and I was making noises about suing over their lack of support.

Anyway, Spire muffed up the nerve block, put it in the wrong place which essentially anaesthetised my diaphragm. By the time I arrived home I couldn't breathe and had to be blue lighted to the local general hossy.

Then having nearly killed me they started pursuing me personally for the bill, and it took a snotty phone call from my solicitor to head of Human Remains at the dibble to get them to intervene to give Spire a slap.

I will never step a Spire hospital again. Having almost been killed by them kindmof puts one off letting them have a second go at me.
