The "hands" thing is a bit weird... seems like if youre running vaguely towards the LHS corner flag, you could pass right, and get away with a hugely forward pass.

Maybe ...

For me the ball should never go in front of the person making the pass.

“Right guys, here’s the game plan - we’re playing the best counter-attacking team in World rugby. What I wasn’t you to do is keep kicking the ball to them so they can run back unchallenged at pace”. Bunch of fvckwits

Speaking of forward passes, France are getting away with loads. I think they offload so fast they just aren’t getting picked up.

The law interpretation is pretty clear whether we agree with it or not.

But it’s not being applied. If the hands are going backwards I don’t see how the ball can get in front of the passing player. They are supposedly allowing for the players momentum so they should be moving forward at the same rate as the ball.

Just as Wales were rallying a bit, won a nice turnover and Beard does that.

20 missed tackles by Wales in one half. I know France have superb footwork and offloading but that’s ridiculous.

I refuse to watch this shambles.
I knew they’d be doing their usual, the ball is a hot potato, so kick it to them, routine.
It’s just desperately sad and clueless.

They look so much better when they keep the ball in hand then revert to kicking and give a try away. Even when they make the kick contestable France are so much better that they get the ball away and attack.
