Would you put any Welsh player in there? I wouldn't.

There are more players from Ireland in the team than the combined British Isles. Hence my comment.
As for any Welsh player, there is only one in the party. Many consider him to be the stand out back row forward and should be at least in the match day squad, if not the starting line up.
I would have liked to see Pollock on the bench, as he too has made outstanding contributions.

Watching the Lions first test on 9Now via VPN, adverts nearly every time there's a break in play for scrum set up, never had that before 🙄😡.
At least I'm not having to pay for it though.

I’m trying the radio but somehow rugby doesn’t really work without pictures.

A win is a win but second half was pretty poor. That performance wouldn't have been good enough vs All Blacks or Boks.
Shows how much top level sport is played in the head. One percentage less because the scoreboard looks healthy can let the opposition back in. The Aussies are also the best at never giving up.

I was driving so tried to find some radio commentary, but could only get BBC Wales Welsh language commentary, which didn't quite cut it for me...🤣

Not sure why it was on as there weren't any Welsh players playing

I dunno, Wimbledon isn’t taken off air once the Brits have been knocked out. Champions League is broadcast even if there are no English clubs playing etc. Why should S4C be any different? Welsh speakers enjoy international sport the same as anyone else.

I think the Aussie dressing room would have been a far more positive one than the Lion's one after the first test. Farrell's selection for today's match would suggest that there's not going to be a lot of personnel changes in the 2nd Test.

This midweek lot have already squandered several chances, while the Southern Hemisphere commentators are whinging about TMO decisions favouring the Lions.
(They have now scored)

I think the Lions had "moments" that won them the game (just!) as opposed to an overall winning performance - the FNAP had cracking all round performance considering they are as thrown together as the Lions

The last I heard the Lions represented Britain & Ireland and as at today's date Wales is still a part of Britain!
