It showed up the issue with a 6-2 split. Saints lost their way with the back line shuffle.
The game degenerated somewhat with much kicking, scrums and penalties.
Sarries seemed to have closed out a narrow win, but one line break changed all that.

Luke Pearce being really annoying today, not letting anything flow and being super pedantic for both teams.
Not sure what Kirk was doing wrong as he seems to be the pivot around which the scrum was twisting.

Wind and the bench should favour Bath in the second half but who knows.

That was hard work, thought Sale were going to win it at the end, but a moment's hesitation by Ford and he gets hit well enough to dislodge the ball.
Think the wind made it really tough for both teams, and Sale away is a really hard match always.
5 away wins this weekend.
Bristol lose ground, Sarries out of top 4 chase, Bath close to 1 point behind Saints

Good win for Bath with their second team. The second half wind and the bench turned it their way. I liked Barberry’s interception.

The first half of Saints vs Castres has been extremely frenetic but very competitive. Castres hold a single point lead, thanks in part to Saints inaccuracy.

It's on Premier Sports so very, very few English based rugby fans get to watch any of the Eurp games - a subscription too far.

sounded like a cracker for the neutral

Would have liked to have watched it and also the Bath Sarries game today. I would even have tried to get to the Rec but with no trains an 8h round car trip does not appeal. The son got a ticket and is going but he’s young!

The wind is proving difficult to play with in Exeter at the moment, but it’s nowhere near as strong as is forecast in Bath during game time.
Potentially gale force by half time.
I have the same and it’s noticeably increased in strength in the past hour.
