2 points the difference out of 84 scored.
Bath dogged out that win and were maybe a tad lucky. A big concern remains over their misfiring line out.
Saints at times played sublime rugby, but eventually lost the arm wrestle.

There’s been quite a lot of criticism of ref Andrew Brace overnight, all of it centred around Pollock. His dumping should have been a yellow card. His yellow card should’ve been a Saints penalty for sealing off.

The commentators did question him being raised above the horizontal being a yellow, but he certainly made a meal of it. I think Brace made the correct call.

In the second instance, I think he may have got it wrong, but can giving Pillock a yellow ever be wrong?

Weren't Saints under a lot of pressure by the time of Pillock's yellow and giving away quite a few penalties?
As we all know, the laws are all about interpretation. If it was a mistake, there will have been others - heard of probably missed offences in a couple of Saints tries.....
Also Dallaglio hates everything about Bath.

Glasgow dumped from the competition by a more focused Toulon team.
Very disappointed by Glasgow playing so much one man, up the guts rugby. Maybe the occasion got to them, but they really didn’t look like team that could go all the way.

Dear me, if last night’s match was sublime, today’s are turgid. Leinster vs Sale I always had down as being potentially the worst game of the round and so far, it is.

Dragons into a European semi-final. I seem to have entered a parallel universe!

So Bordeaux and Leinster get home semis, at their alternative home grounds, even though semi finals should be played at a neutral venue in the country of the higher seeded team.....
Leinster have been given that unfair advantage for years, and now UBB get it too.

This.
Leinster especially have had every favourable break going. It’s been going on for years.

Shocking decisions at the start of the Bristol vs Gloucester game. 2 missed knock ons and a dubious yellow, all in favour of Bristol and results in a try.

Is Tempest wearing a Bristol shirt?
2 players on the ground playing the ball, and he gives yet another decision to Bristol

It’s becoming a farce.
Bristol haven’t had a single penalty against them.
Gloucester into double figures.
Now it’s yet another yellow card and a penalty try.

Once you start so obviously favouring one side, the opposition get more desperate and this is what results.
