He can't go to another club as marquee and no club would pay anywhere near that sum within the cap for a backrower.
If he goes to France or Japan he might get close to that, but would lose profile significantly as he can't be selected for England.

He's not a regular starter for club or country yet, and plays in a position where England have huge strength.

Hearn needs to focus on his off field earnings, but that could then be to the detriment of his onfield performances.
He's already modelling his porky body for Oddballs and it really isn't a great look! I doubt any forwards would look good in their underwear tbh.

I agree with all of that. Lovely to see the Boks well beaten in their own backyard.
Matt Carley did give an awful lot of penalties, but given how these two sides tend to have their own interpretations of the rules.
The dumb yellows were earned.

Saffas gave the ABs no space in the second half. Gardiner let them slow up ABs ball almost with impunity.
Thought the ABs passing was far too static.
Carter is sewriously quick on the ABs left wing but only had space the time he scored.

Australia vs South Africa this morning was another bonkers game.
Came in with c20 minutes to go, Aus leading 42-17.
Aus had just subbed their front row and started to get mullered in the scrum.
Saffas start to close the gap.
With 10 to go, Aus conced 5 penalties and 4 yellow cards plus a penalty try.
8 minutes with 11 vs 15
Saffas close the gap, but also dropped the ball over the line twice.
With 12 men, the Aussie's intercept to score it it is ruled out for a high tackle and the fourth yellow.
Saffas narrow it to 6 points, conversion is over but clock in the red.
Game allowed to restart.
Saffas regather but then get pinged for crossing, and it's game over!

There was a comms failure too so ref was communicating with the TMO by mobile phone!
