I have returned from Slattery's with a box of various acholloly flavoured chocolates to sample after tonight's curry take-away

Afternoon tea was delightful, if not a trifle delicate, and we finished off with a stroll around Mike Cookson's next door (Happy mother's day treat dear! ).

Youngest Skol Jnr was very taken with a kids size Scott road bike. Nothing caught my attention?

Bake a chocolate cake
Paint some fence panels
Make some chocolate ganache
Sort out a mini cycling adventure in France at Easter.
Put a bottle of Muscadet in the fridge to chill
Coating the chocolate cake with the cooled ganache.
Testing my Thermarest for leaks
Celebrate being in Yorkshire
Celebrate not being in Lancashire
Having a lie down to recover from the celebrations
Watching Metropolis after my lie down
Drinking some chilled Muscadet during the watching of Metropolis.
Wonder where today has gone.
Remember where today has gone.
Re-celebrate not being in Lancashire.

Had a veggie sausage sandwhich for brunch
Took dog for a walk
Had cup of tea in the garden of the park cafe
Read book for a bit
Had some cheese on toast
Had an afternoon snooze
Fettled my trailer to turn it into a speedway bike towing trailer
Took trailer for a test ride
Went to corner shop for chocolate
Am now eating chocolate.
