Few people probably know that Porsche made diesel tractors in the 1950s.

My first thought was "what idiot painted his International in gold," but actually, it's a very rare tractor.

It's a manual mortising machine with hand drill attachment. I made many doors & windows in my youth with a similar machine. A fixed chisel is punched down into timber to cut the mortice, you end up with a right arm bigger than popeye if used regularly.

An FE-35 with the Standard 23c diesel engine. This tractor really should be grey and gold as I believe it predates the Massey-Harris merger. Just one of several old lightweight tractors I seen today, still earning their keep on the bog.

Someone has been spending money on new starter and dynamo.
