The Upper Richmond Road Area in the late 60s early 70s

A long shot this. Did anyone live in this area in the late 60s that remembers any bike shops along the Upper Richmond Road?

I think Pearsons used to be on The Upper Richmond Road in Sheen.
I think they ( or perhaps a later name) closed 5 - 10 years ago, maybe more.

Action Bikes is on the other side of the road.

But not the shop I was thinking of, that was a small corner shop nearer to Richmond. It may now be Savills.

He did but he cannot remember a cycle shop in that area, Holdsworth and Ken Ryall were my go to shops.

Pearson’s are quite recent to Sheen (unless they were there years ago too). They’ve been in Sutton for ever (founded 150 years ago but don’t know where original site was).

That was my "patch" in the early/seventies onwards and had several customers along the Upper Richmond Rd from Putney up to Sheen but I don't remember any bike shops

Born and bred in Sheen - only bike shop near to URR was EA Bundock down Sheen Lane and a looong time ago Chas Messenger opposite Watney's brewery on Mortlake High Street.
BUT... Upper Richmond Road extends from Wandsworth nearly to Manor Road (North Sheen station). I don't recall bike shops on the other bits, but I could be wrong.
