Two new rear calipers and pads on the old girl yesterday, today makes for a much smoother ride. 380 sheckels down though. If the weather is kind over the weekend I'll probably give her a going over inside and out for the springtime.

Well I had a go at mini detailing/clay baring the 22yo old girl. Surprisingly she scrubs up well, I bought some ultimate compound with these full intention of finishing off with a hand polish then ceramic sealing….. but I’d had enough so the polishing was missed out. I have a level of patience but detailing isn’t for me🤗

Commuting low 40’s, on a motorway run if at 60/65mph then high 40’s-low 50’s(calculated). Be aware the trip comp lies like a Tory. It’s a dream on towing too!
I’d love a 940 auto with half leather but the mpg isn’t for me.

We hade a Euro 3 XC bitd until the death of its front transfer box said it was time for it to go on the grounds of uneconomic repair. Notably more economical than our current Euro 5.

Not a bad achievement, Rochdale to Benllech and back plus 5 days of bobbin about, especially given the A55 isn’t not friendly. A full car and towing a very full trailer. In reality it was probably closer to 43/44mpg.

I’m not sure if it was the same XC90 or not, but…

I was driving home from my parents house about 16:10, & from the opposite direction came a XC90, in black/very dark grey
It had (amber) marker-lights/red tail-lights on (I guess?) the roof-rack

Plus, rather curiously painted/powder-coated wheels in a ‘spearmint green’!!

Sorry, no photographs, but, l’ll take the SD card out of the dash-cam later (or tomorrow) & have a look to copy an image

I sometimes wish I'd not got rid of mine, but I simply didn't need it and tax and insurance were not insignificant for a car that spent about 2 hours a month on the road.
