Roade water tower, the one overlooking the railway. This one has planning permission to be turned into a house but nothing seems to be happening.

And the other Roade water tower. I do not know what historical imperative begat a village with two of the things, but there you go.

Kenninghall Water Tower

A bit distant but this is the water tower in Huntingdon that you could see from the A14, the elevated section that was crumbling and spanned the ECML and the Brampton rd before it was crunched up.

One of two water towers at Bluntisham/Colne, Cambs.
This one is operated by the Cambridge Water Company

A much larger multi legged water tower only a few hundred metres distance from the older Bluntisham/ Colne tower. The apple orchard is a small survivor of a once very large area of top fruit orchards in the Ouse Valley in East Cambs
