Today, I’ll be going to w*rk, no doubt delivering BBQ charcoal and beer for folk to buy and enjoy.

Tomorrow and Monday, however, is bike and beer time

Drinking and cycling!
Think of the bike should you spill any. Hope you recycle the empties.

Slightly improved tomorrow, but still no "phew wot a scorcher" type heatwave. Then into next week it's the usual - wet and windy. Everyone around here is tired of the cold, the greyness, the rain, the wind, and general bollox that the weather has been delivering us now for several years. Summer just never seems to materialise any more .

I have a Scottish cousin down for the TdY. He loved the weather here today and is looking forward to more of the same on tomorrow's sportive.

He said that it is a long time since he had such a warm day back at home.
