The weather turned to merde down my way today, so I.......

What have the CC massive done today, if they've been caught in the latest band of cack weather? I went for a ride earlier, and got caught in a windy rainy episode, then I decided to do a full strip down, clean, check, and replace / repair, on my Boardman road bike. I just need the weather to not be quite so risky, so I can test ride it now.

Got up this morning, streaming full of cold, voice gone, feeling like crap, weather atrocious outside, rain eventually stopped so had a run out to local farm shop for dog food. Temperature dropped to 6.5C looks like its going to be a cold night. Bike stayed tucked up in my shed.

Had things to do this afternoon (Library, bank, buy Goat Curry, etc...)

So, had a 4 mile 'XC' run this morning, following wife & daughter out of the door at 08:00
Cold, windy, muddy, & oh yes!, raining

I sat in traffic in the dark and rain for 70 minutes, sat at my desk for 9 hours then sat in traffic again for almost an hour. Thank Gawd for heaters and radios in cars.

That's Cambridge for you. Lightweights the lot of 'em. If anyone bellyaches about the spray, on one of my rides, I just point out that if they move slightly to the side ( and stop draughting / cheating), the problem is solved.
