I'm annoyed with myself today, I didn't feel like a cycle ride this morning, and when I looked at the wind blowing the tree's horizontal and the dark grey morning I decided to leave it till tuesday, later on in the day, when painting the kitchen, I noticed the suns out.

Everything has annoyed me today - the career bureaucrats who have hijacked the CTC, Europe, Nicola Sturgeon, the weather, my age, I could go on.

And Daim bars...

... They do still sell Daim bars?

No idea, you'll have to ask Marmie to pick you one up. Come to think of it, he could get stuff for everyone.

Loads of Daim bars were purchased.
As was some jam.
And chocolate spread.
And frozen pancakes.

Tonight's meal ended with pancakes filled with chocolate spread with chopped bananas and honeycomb ice-cream. I feel quite sick now.

I didnae have a hotdog tho. Might get one next time.

I was trying to demonstrate the digital piano and digital audio workstation in my attic room to my stepdaughter but the kit wouldn't switch on.

I looked across the room and saw that the cordless phone whose base station/charger uses another power socket was not powered up either.

Clearly the power socket circuit breaker had popped out for some reason so I walked across the room, down the stairs, across the landing, down another flight of stairs, across the kitchen, down the steps into my cellar, across the cellar to the power board and checked the circuit breaker. It was okay.

Oh, maybe I had forgotten to switch the wall socket on in the attic. Damn!

I walked back across the cellar, up the steps to the kitchen, across that, up the stairs to the landing, across that, up the stairs to the attic, across that room and ... the power was switched on.

Ah, maybe the switches on the extension lead were switched off? No.

It was time for stepsprog to go and catch the train home so I escorted her to the station.

I came home and decided to recheck everything. Back down to the cellar. Circuit breaker ok. Trek back to the attic. Power switched on at socket - check. Power switches switched on at the other end of the extension lead - check. Piano switched on - check ...

Extension lead unplugged from wall socket - oh, check. Dehumidifier plugged in instead - oh, drat - check!

And as for the coincidentally also powered-down telephone ... a call to my sister revealed that she had turned it off because the red charging light had irritated her while she was trying to get to sleep in that room last week. She had forgotten to turn it back on!

That little lot annoyed me today!

Discovering that the decorator has buggered with my hi-fi and fused the amp. ( he unplugged it to runa space heater, and it turns out the wire in the plug to the neutral had come loose from its pole, but I'm blaming him anyway)And I can't find a T1A 5*20mm anywhere in the house. He's also pulled a rawlplug out of the curtain pole fixing, so I've got to bugger about and find a bigger one and fix it in with filler cos he's enlarged the plaster around it.

IDS claiming we have open borders. Eh? I always have to queue up and show my documents. Shengen we are not. Pratt

All the way to Northern Italy ny car last year, and not once from departing Ashford were me and me Dad asked to show anything more substantive than tickets to get the car on the train.

That I paid all that money for a passport no one wanted to look at makes me bloody angry.
