Hello one and all.
I'm Jason. An increasingly keen cyclist of over 40yrs and a personal trainer.
I've suffered some setbacks in the last couple of years but starting to put some fitness together now.
Looking at dual aims this year of the Calmzone.net ride - Tour De Test Valley which is a must every year and then the Cycling Weekly 125 yr sportive the following day. And, if fitness stays, Ventoux before winter strikes.
Training starts now.
A few Q's just to get some thoughts:
MTB or road?
On or off bike training?
Beetroot or no beetroot?
Shimano or Campag?
Paris Roubaix or Milan San Remo?

Nice to be here, hope to catch some of you soon.

Barnet,
Welcome Jason.

Many differing views to be had on the forum, but I would go for--
A road bike,
On bike training,
I like beetroot in salads, but not the juice only,
Campagnolo is my groupset choice,
I like both of these monument races.
