I might be wrong here, but I thought the poison used with worms by pest-controllers was strychnine? Only because one of my dogs nearly died of strychnine poisoning once and there had to be a Ministry enquiry (which could not determine who was responsible, since a random bird could eat a toxic worm and die, and that dog would eat anything she came across).
Styrchnine I can get!

Oh sorry. I don't know - this was twenty five years ago and he was a professional rat catcher long dead himself but I imagine he got it from a pharmacy under license, imagine cyanide in the hands of the grim reaper:ohmy:
Just wondered where you had got it from.
Easy enough get, but strychnine will kill five times.

Nope and nope. Both are relatively easy to get hold of and don'r require any special licensing to possess or use.
Wow. Better keep the correct side of Mrs 26 then

Had similar issue last year. Got the Council's guy round who determined ratty was nesting under next door's shed. Poisoned bait along his/her runs solved the problem but we found one evident rat = 6 corpses across two gardens.
