There's good news and bad news...

The good news is that I have just got home and the jerseys have arrived!

The bad news is that they didn't change a spelling mistake they had made in the sample I was sent (mods - the pic I posted 18/12/07). Simply, the n in friendly has been left out on the front, back and arms .

Otherwise, the shirts look awesome. Postman doesn't seem to have noticed the mistake (unless he is keeping it quiet!) so what is the consensus? The office is now shut until Monday so there isn't much that can be done now which gives us 2 days to decide whether CycleChat is friedly or friendly!

If people want pics, I will post some up so you get the idea.

I don't think I could accept one like that, sorry! Just the thing about which people from 'elsewhere' (and one individual in particular - I think folks know who I mean) might take the p!ss out of us!

Of course, it could be a great conversation starter, "what's 'friedly?". Trouble is, sometimes the folk who notice that sort of thing aren't the folk you want to have a conversation with...

I didn't order a shirt, so you might want to ignore me but Will, if you're condfident you picked up and flagged the typo on the sample shirt, I think you should all get new shirts sent out courtesy of the company.

I didn't order one originally, (joined the forum to late I think) but would think they should fix the problem.

Alternatively they might agree to reduce the unit cost.

PS: It might be cheeky!, but if they do fix the problem and if they want to flog the erroneous tops I'd be happy to pay a price for one.

It was 100% their mistake - I have an email saying that a sample had been sent out to me and they had noticed that the n was missing and had been changed on the template. When I got the sample and they had marked the missing n (the pic attached is the sample).

Reminds me of something. A company I used to work for, ordered a huge quantity of business cards, letterhead stationery, etc. (This was long before the days of laser printers). The wording was supposed to be:
Computer Software Specialists

Every single one came in saying:
Computer Softwear Specialists

The whole batch had to be pulped. Then the printers sent a re-run. They now said:
Computor Software Specialists

Good to have a laugh sometimes...

Computer Software Specialists

Every single one came in saying:
Computer Softwear Specialists

The whole batch had to be pulped. Then the printers sent a re-run. They now said:
Computor Software Specialists

Good to have a laugh sometimes...

My neighbour used to be a freelance health and safety inspector and got some cards and pens made up....the pens had his name as Brain Cutting - the sort of name a neurosurgeon could only dream of having

Someone I know off had a batch of pamphlets printed and when composing them stuck in box with some facts and typed underneath one of them "(check this fact? is it right? Just there to fill space really)".

Oh, if only he'd remembered to take that bit out before printing.
