I saw one in McDonalds a few years back, scared the sh*te out of me

But wasn't that the nation's happiest clown? :o)

I think (so I'm probably wrong) that if caught, the so called "pranksters" could be done for common assault, or threatening behaviour. I am not a legal expert, but that's my take on it.

Seem to be mainly in the north and the Midlands...
It's one of those situations where the unusual is scary...99% of the clown population lives darn sarrf.....mainly bankers....
