Well in the end it does/will destroy "the beautiful game" (I've seen plenty of unbeautiful ones). Don't also want to become a "hand of God" whinger. Ireland had enough chances over the 2 games to go through.. French goalkeeper made some good saves/French defence some good last ditch tackles.. so lets face it if we'd managed to take one of two of those Henry's handball wouldn't have mattered. If Ireland had gone through on a handball I doubt if we'd care. <-- that doesn't make it right but as the French say "C'est la vie".

I think c'est la guerre would be more appropriate.......

Music lovers against the bomb diddly om-bomb, bomb bomb

and

Clouseau fans against the beumb

Amazing, start a thread about a well known cyclist and you will be lucky to get half the posts of a b....y footballer. The power of the media even gets to cyclists. the term brainwashed springs to mind.
If cycling had half the money that is ploughed into football, the roads would be safe.
Did I see someone calling it the beautiful game?

never in any other "sport" have I witnessed as much cheating and foul language and that was only in the under 10's I used to referee. Wonder where they got that from.

And another Leicester player - Neil Back

Cheating in sport is dispicable and there is NO place for it.

If there is TV evidence that shows blatant cheating, then the authorities HAVE to act to preserve the name of sport.

And let's face it; this wasn't just any old game of football!

Yes - the classic 'Back- hander'...Henry did the right thing though - he got his apology in quickly.

I'm quite ashamed really. First time I ever thought a game would have been better decided on penalties, or by tossing a coin. Neither team is good enough to win the Cup, so a lottery would have been just as good a way to decide who would go and play 3 or 4 games there.
Instead someone nicked the prize before the draw could take place...

It is so infuriating when such important games are won by outright cheating and stupid refereeing decisions. It leaves a bitter taste in the mouth when you're cheated and it takes the shine off when you know you've cheated.
