Over the counter medicines.
I would agree to this most of the time....except once I was getting SERIOUSLY stressed at work in a previous job I was ready to throw my keys very hard at the next member of senior management who came near my shop...strange they stayed away...... My Doctor suggested 'Kalms' a herbal medicine to help with stress.

They worked too well I didn't give a flying f*** about anything whilst I was taking them........... couldn't have been the placebo effect because I fully expected them to do nothing for me....

But as you say most things over the counter medicines are pants imo

Rhubarb. Who the heck decided that stuff was edible?

It is edible, the problem is that a rhubarb crumble that tastes nice needs a lot more work than people think. Firstly you need to add enough sugar, after that you enhance it with something like orange or ginger or alternatively you have a rhubarb and X crumble with other fruits like apple and blackberrys.

Still makes your teeth feel funny though. I would like it if it weren't for that. *shivers*

The trick is to use a herb called Sweet Cicely to calm down the acidity and improve sweetness, but I don't have any. Or bicarb, but I'd worry about the taste.

Plum crumble for me.

I hate to tell you, but England are still in a position to qualify for the next phase

AND England for once never over promised

I concede both points at the moment (will let you know tomorrow on the first though).... and I must admit this year I have never known a lower expectation of success......................
