I'm not a big fan of Tesco for reasons I won't go into here, but for those reasons I don't venture in there very often. Today, finding myself in a bit of a bind I did, and oddly enough I got a rather pleasant surprise. No, it wasn't the BSO in the doorway with the forks on back to front (although there was one, and I did let the couple eyeing it up for their daughter how to put it together properly) but something that I haven't seen for many a year.

Real Coca-Cola.

It was in glass bottles and everything. Made with cane sugar and not those chemically tasting sweeteners. I couldn't resist so I bought a six pack. On the way out the store I whipped out my Wiggle bottle opener and enjoyed a bottle there and then. Bloomin' gorgeous it was too - Coke how it used to be. Actually tasty, actually refreshing. I'll be savoring the rest of the pack lest I never be able to find them again.

What have you thought to no longer exist and have since rediscovered?

Caramac!! I'm not sure it's quite the same as it used to be, but it's still good.
Oddly, Dandelion and Burdock has made a comeback in recent years too.

Bring back Cream Soda too!

Cream Soda is out there. We collect from a house on a Tuesday where they've always had a couple of cans.

Not quite on topic, but at the weekend I was at a Museum where the cafe served Oxo, and it occured to me I can't remember the last time I'd had Bovril. My Mum used to give it a bit of a kick in a drink called Shovril. Bovril, with a dash of sherry.

I had a Bovril from a kiosk at Victoria station before the July FNRttC. They didn't put any sherry in it, the tight gits.
