Sadly I had to use my vacuum cleaner's extension tube/pipe to suck up a 'huge' moth on my bathroom ceiling last night. I'd left my windows open for hours, after seeing it there, hoping it'd fly out the window but no, it was still there 4 hours later when I got home. I have a phobia of big moths, so I couldn't just leave it there to attack me at will!🙄 I'd like to see someone invent a kind of vacuum cleaner that has the power to suck up insects without giving them the chance to see what's happening and escape the action, but also let them land in a cushy container that doesn't spin the contents round at a fast speed, but instead leaves the insect unharmed so you can open it up to let the insect fly or walk away, instead of being mangled.🤔

1) no reported incidents of anyone ever being attacked at will by a big moth.....
2) what's wrong with shutting the bathroom door and leaving it it sleep on your bathroom ceiling until the morning?

You'll be big brave boy. Catch the moth in a large glass and transport it to a quiet spot outside.

Phobias are just that, phobias, a thing to get over.
I told you my very bizarre one a while back and I know it's utter nonsense, so although I avoid it, I also know it's not going to hurt me when I do need to use them!

Be brave and embrace the Lämp!! 😆

How can I do that when I don't have a step ladder to reach my bathroom ceiling and not only that, if it escaped from the glass on my way down I'd have a hissy fit, probably causing me to fall!🙄 No, I did the right thing the other night. It was either me or the moth, so it had to be removed by the safest for me way possible.

Tape jar to a broom handle, what could possibly go wrong

So, just about every pre-cyclone type vacuum cleaner?

Although it won't make it any easier, take solace in the fact that there are virtually no venomous moths. Except in Australia, because of course there are.

A bloody time machine and a way of re - living your life again, but knowing what you know now.

I'd go back August 1994 at the very latest and do the things I was meant to do, but I listened to too many people and missed what *could* have been the chance of a lifetime... 🙄🤦‍♂️
It's only looking back now that I realise what an error I made.

I was 12, going on 9 (Brain Damage) though. I was only a kid 😏

They freak me out when fluttering around my head!🙄 Being blind in my right eye I can't work out where they are distance wise. It's like watching those low budget 3D films in cinemas they made, where things look like they've come out of the screen, but you can't work out how far they are away.🙄

No need to kill them though, they are just doing what moths do, they wont harm you, just headbutt you a few times, which I am sure probably causes them more damage than you anyway.
