I'd go back August 1994 at the very latest and do the things I was meant to do, but I listened to too many people and missed what *could* have been the chance of a lifetime... 🙄🤦‍♂️
It's only looking back now that I realise what an error I made.

I was 12, going on 9 (Brain Damage) though. I was only a kid 😏

I think something like that already exists. Cars have passed me and their windscreen washers come on at the same time spraying me.

It should be possible to make something like a larger version of a bike pump - wider anyway - on a telescipic arm and with a sliding thingy that closes the opening

so you put the open end over the insect (or arachnid) and pull the plunger so it gets sucked into the cylinder
then you trigger the thingy to close the opening and then just release the beast somewhere safe

anthought my wife's solution was to find me - which is probably a lot more trouble to be fair
(but there are the jokes)

As for your picture, that's tiny! I thought you were talking of Hawkmoths there.

Yes, butterflies and moths are the same thing, it's just how they have been classed that makes people think they are different.

Also, there are many, many colourful and amazing looking moths out there, but they usually fly at night, so people never see them.
