If people don't like me they don't have to be in my company

Have you been listening in on my conversations and quoting me?

It sounds like something I said to my wife not long ago when she said people would think I was being funny for not going to a party.

"If that's what they think, and they've got nothing better to gossip about, then it says more about them than it does about me," was my reply.

To the people who bring their dogs into the adjacent office at work: I have a phobia of dogs and I am sure that they're not supposed to be in there with you. I don't mind when they are quiet & you are looking after them, and I appreciate that I need to tolerate the fact that they are there. But keep them away from me, please.

You've got some brass neck telling a photographer to hurry up and take a picture when you and your wife have developed a lifelong ability to have people wait for you.
And then to ask some one 'Who do you scrounge off?" when you've spent the majority of your life in luxurious (taxpayer) paid comfort is frankly bile-inducing.
