When someone (generally on t' Web) gives a "helpful" answer that is actually anything but, of the following kind:
Bob: Does anyone have a good carbon underpants drying rig* they can recommend?
Bill: I just got one from Amazon.
OH GREAT BILL, THANKS FOR THAT! WHY NOT SAY:
"I bought one off the internet" or
"I bought one with money from another human being who had one for sale" !!!!
COS THAT WOULD BE EQUALLY AS FECKIN HELPFUL !!!!!
The other frequent example:
Bob: Anyone have a good route from New Paglia to Dripping Norton, preferably avoiding big hills?
Bill: I just use Google Maps, switch to cycle mode
OH THANKS A MILLION BILL, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT EXISTED !!!!
*or whatever, just for example
