That would be me then....that is, if I had a car.
Who'd be daft enough to take the front wheel off a bike to fit the boot, then drive 50 miles to ride it without remembering to put the front wheel in the boot as well?
I've had fellow cyclists on the club run ask me to buy them a brew and food at the cafe stop,as they've conveniently forgotten their money. I tell them so have i apart from just enough to buy myself something.

That's a bit nasty, unless there was precedents.

Did 'an autumn day out' audax with my brother for the second time last year.

He lives in Keyworth. We drove the 15 or so miles to Trowell in my car. We unloaded the bikes. Keith let out a volley of expletives.... He'd brung the wrong shoes. I calmly drove him home, then we returned to do the ride. A good day out.

On an audax which started in Merthyr Tydfil a fellow rider realised at the cafe that he had left his wallet in his van.

I paid his bill then it dawned on him that his wallet phone and keys were all on the front seat of the unlocked van.

He had a worrying last 50 kms but it was all still there when we got back.
