I don't get upset at all when someone makes and poor judgment - We all do it sometimes. Its the deliberately dangerous ones that really worry me.

How will you get revenge? The likelihood of a driver actually seeing your video, giving a toss and changing their behaviour is basically nil

I have only had a camera for two weeks and have 2 incidence I classify as "deliberately dangerous"

1. Where I was going fast down a hill and accelerating when a car over took me with its left indicator already on, forcing me to slow down - and then he turned left.

2. The usual - car passes and turns left right in front of me (very close) - not sure if he indicated

If either of these two motorists do anything similar in my vicinity again I will report them. and will have video evidence to back up a claim of dangerous driving.

If you felt it was so dangerous why do you not report straightaway? They could do similar to another cyclist or indeed road user or ped

To be honest these were bread and butter events, the sort everyone encounters every few weeks. These drivers were intentionally pissing me off because I'm a cyclist and cyclist have been pissing them off all week.

The event that prompted me to get a camera was definately intentional and was also life threatening, I would not have hesitated to report it, had I had a camera.

I see no issue with the first one, second one maybe you had to slow but wasn't that close. Happens every 5 minutes in SW London

The car who knocked me off while overtaking was more of an issue!

i agree the first was ok (just). The second should have held back. But to claim both were punishment turns is a big leap. Most punishment passes are just that. The chance they both want to punish you and take the next left are low.

Unless you have previous with these two cars I think you are allowing your own prejudice or lack of experience of driving (of others if not yourself) to assume an intention that was probably not there. How do you discount the liklihood that the second driver misjudged your speed and hence conflict at the corner?

And you were able to interrogate the brain of the driver and retrieve this information from several metres away without the driver even being aware?
Amazing.

I don't read either of these as deliberate if they are the ones in your video. Careless or ill-mannered perhaps, but maybe just poor judgement as you say. I'm not defending either, but you'd be wasting your time reporting them.

1. The only reason that this is not more exciting is that I had to stop pedalling and feather my brakes. Once he had turned left I then had to change down 2 gears for the following hill. Very annoying, perhaps it was just poor judgement and not reading the road. However, can you imagine the reaction this guy would have got had he done the same manouever past a car?

2. No, I cannot excuse this guy. He is a utter fool. What would have happend to a pedestrian had one been crossing at the time he turned left?

You're upset that you had to change gear? Stop looking for outrage and move on.
