why are so many people bike snobs just because it dont cost a lot it doesnt mean its cra@ . my current stable of bikes all cost a lot less than what some people for 1 bike

yes it does. it depends on what you define as the "cycling experience" and the enjoyment derived from riding a bike. if you are happy with brakes that do not stop you, gears that jump, components that wear rapidly or rust, constant adjustment, wheels that do not run true, having to push unnecesary weight, forks that do not absorb bumps then by all means stick to cheap bikes.

cheapness is relative anyway.
