I don't find this funny. I don't like it. I am amazed it got planning when perfectly reasonable clients are denied their dream home elsewhere in the planning system.

Money talks still, and taste appears to be somewhat vague, eclectic and random.... lost.

I'm tired..... if you like this house then god help you, because I won't.

I like GP and i like his ceramics, i think he is a good presenter and i liked his Reith Lectures however imho this is an abomination and its a disgrace that the local council have allowed it to be built. As has already been said there are people that are desperate to build their own home but get turned down for really silly reasons despite the neighbours support.

It doesnt look to bad to me I've worked on a lot worse,like some of the concrete,steel and glass eyesores they are throwing up down here ,having said that I doubt the ordinary man in the street would have got Grayson's house through the planning process.

I get its all about art, he's an artist.

As for the Segrada Familia it's a stunning building.

Segrada Familia- jarring over decorated eyesore? Each to their own TVC, but that building is incredible- the interior is like a jewel while the outside has a themed and unifying simplicity that knocks joke architecture away.

That Perry got to build an 'art installation' in the open countryside is a joke of the highest order, but one that isn't remotely funny. Money and privilege still opens doors.
