Thanks yeah it does me just fine currently few niggles such as lack of gearing choices which i think is holding me back compared to bikes with a closer set of ratios making it easier to choose the right gear and change up or down in smaller increments.

I had the same weight lost story as you now love cycleing if you can get on cycle to work bike from your work it might let you get a nice new bike I've changed a few time before I found the bike I'm in love with and it's amazing when you find the something that feels perfect for you.
