My late BF delighted in making 'incompatible' components work together. That and his odd socks, sort of summed him up - bit off the wall, didn't care for convention, and bloody minded enough to damn well make it work out of whatever bits he had lying around...

Which is why my bikes tend to have fairly unique combinations of kit...

Believe me, one just does. (It's more of a 'domestic issue' anyway). But I'm over it now.

So we move on to; people who use Bontrager components on anything other than a Trek bike (or at least Trek group).

How tacky is that?
