Thoughts on this ?

I nipped around to a friends house tonight that used to ride and he showed me his old road bike .

Bought new in the 90's by him so one owner . The garage was dark so I couldn't really see a lot but it looked in good nick ..... for a bike stored in a garage .

No idea , the flash on the camera lit up the bike . I couldn't really see any details .
The way he had spoken about it I was expecting to see an early carbon bike so this was a bit of a surprise .
Hes asking £100 for it .

Good value at £100, those 7 speed RSX shifters alone regularly fetch £40 on eBay if in good working order.

why not offer to help him sell it should go good money if all ok

Is this the bit where I buy it for £100 , put new tubes and tyres on it and spend a few evenings getting it running sweet . A few months later realise I don't use it so offer it for sale on here and you offer me £50

Oh, I couldn't do that! It would be too small for me anyway. That's the other issue, I noticed the frame is very small, would it fit you?
