To qualify some of accountant petes observations, I'll say the following ( assuming he agrees) .. FSA crAnksets are far from the best IMHO. The paint on my megaexo cranks rubs off easily and the logo diss appeared even quicker. Perhaps that was the way I'd got my cleats set up, but had no similar problems on other cranks with the same shoes. Also, mega exo BBs are poor, little protection from the elements .
Now TBF, this doesn't mean they'll fall apart in months , but there are defiantly better crAnksets out there . It's. Just personal preference.
The calipers won't be the best either but at the end of the day, all entry level bikes have a compromise of components on them. If you want better components, you pay, then it's not an entry level bike anymore and people will say it's too expensive to get into the sport so's to speak .
Best components, no. Acceptable components, yes. It'll be fine.
