Thumb Shifter

Can thumb shifter speed control be converted to handlebar dial selecter and if so would it be an expensive change?

Do you mean put a DT or stem thumb shifter on the bars? Several options at https://forum.cyclinguk.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=57027 with varying prices. Paul's Thumbies seem to be £35 in some shops now. Might be cheaper to get bar mounted thumb shifters unless you're particularly fond of some particular ones.

If so it should be a fairly cheap and easy to do , i changed my lads old bike from grip to thumb as the gripshift was rubbish ( mind you it was an old bike that had been mistreated by various kids )
