Had a short storm here in Northumberland about an hour ago. It moved on quickly, but could be more on the way.

Right on cue, it's started again, with really really heavy rain.

I couldn't make head nor tail of tomorrows forecast. We might get piddled on, we might not, and it could happen at any time. Or not at all...

Where's the confusion. Seems a perfectly normal forecast.

No Thunder and Lightning in South Wales, just monsoon like incessant rain from 10pm, all night and it's still coming down now. The roads are going to be interesting if we venture out later.

When you are staying in a caravan the need for ear plugs is never highlighted more than a night like last night.

Just got back from a spin on the road bike and while the sun is now shining, the roads around here are a mess after last nights deluge.
Standing water / huge puddles abound, loads of mud / grit / stones washed out of fields making for "interesting" riding conditions in more than a few places.

Mug of tea, then clean the bike...
