There are some good deals on GRX 10 speed hydraulics that is what I run with my Tiagra 4700 the lever feel is excellent in the hoods.

I built mine up myself with SLX calipers for post mount

There is this bit in the 105 description that may be the reason

That is a dead easy job to swap them over

IMO downside of Tiagra 4700 is that it isn't compatible with anything other than itself - buying the 105 helps to future proof
