tidy bike vs bolt on goody bike

if this were your bike would you spoil the look of it by bolting on speedos,lights ,bottle cages,ect

Only if I wanted to see how fast I was going, see or be seen in poor visibility or have something to drink while riding.

It's just horrible. All that suspension gubbins, it looks like a Motocross bike without the engine. I'm going to make myself sound about a hundred years old here, but bikes are elegance personified, a meeting of form and function. That, er, isn't, at least not to my eyes.
I ride an old Dawes Galaxy most of the time, which probably won't surprise you at all.
