Schwalbe Durano Plus finally worn through to the blue plastic layer. Replacing it with the same type of tyre. I think it's about 5 years since this one was replaced. The only thing that defeats them are blackthorn hedge cuttings, but they will puncture almost anything.

Plenty of life left in that that's only a little bit of the blue.

Knew I had another picture somewhere.

Ran that tyre for another 5 months and 1300 miles until the other, less worn tyre started to fail at the bead/sidewall, at which point I replaced them both.

The 'good' tyre is still hung in the bike shed as an emergency spare just in case and looks something like this.... :laugh:
