There are so many better beaches than brighton...it's ok for a day or two in summer, if you stay away from the bits closest to the pier....but really, the better beaches are elsewhere. I mean because of the ever present beer swilling lobster peeps and kiss me quick dross along the prom, not the beach itself which would be fine without all the crap humans bring to nature.
