Took advantage of a break in the weather yesterday to do a mile or two of gentle gravel, averaging around 11 mph. Still managed to grit the top of my bonce

It's one of two bikes I have that don't have mudguards of their own and they share a set of clip ons - which are on the other bike which is residing elsewhere at the moment.
I know I have only myself to blame...and I am a sucker for punishment, think I'll go out and do it again

My gravel bike is currently resplendent in whatever guards were nearest to hand last time I went out. The front is still bare as there is not a lot of clearance and nothing I have fits under there. The rear is wearing the rear SKS Rowdy guard off of my son’s 24” MTB - it does a remarkable job on the 43x700c tyre given that it’s for a 20-24” application. A bit of a fiddle to fit and now my son’s backside gets muddy, but needs must.
