Titanium seatpost - vaseline?

Hello,
My new titanium seatpost post has just arrived so keen to fit it, should I use vaseline as I assume carbon paste would not be correct?
The frame is also titanium.

Wrong. It will definitely corrode.

Use silicone grease as this will remain in place. Not a lot just a touch of.👍

Stops any water ingress mainly.

Its not grease. Waterproof grease is best I think.

You don't need any grease, paste or suchlike for a Ti seatpost and Ti frame. Don't waste your time.
Over a dozen years of Ti post and frame riding, in all weathers without any problem tells me this. Ti to Ti will not corrode.
What you do need to do though, is to tighten the post collar very tight.

I'd like to hear @Paul_Smith SRCC opinion about this.
