I currently have a fair number of KOM's on strava, although most are on segments that aren't ridden by alot of other riders so are fairly worthless. Only a couple of cat4's that I'm proud of.

A colleague recently got a KOM on quite a long segment that is just off my "long" route to work. The question is, should I go and attempt to claim this KOM, just for a laugh. Or should I just leave it be?

What would you do?

Go for it and if you don't beat him flag the segment as dangerous

Is this a serious thread or am I missing something here?
If you want to try the segment just do it !
Seems like you wouldn't be happy with anything but a KOM, and embarrassed if you didn't get it

Surely you are just giving him a fresh challenge to retain the original title. IF you beat him your just helping him to improve. If he wanted to keep it a secret why did advertise it?
