Wednesday is stage 4 of the tour, which goes from Stoke-on-Trent to Llanberis. http://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/stages/stage4/stoke_on_trent_route.php#.UjYH0D9-rfU

Because of this, me and a few other cyclists are going down to Llanberis to watch the final climb up Pen-y-pass. We will set off early in the morning and join the actual Tour route at Llangernyw. We will then follow the rest of the route through Llanwrst and Capel Curig to Llanberis.
I am recording the live program on ITV4 so that I can see if I can see myself cheering Wiggo on.

I shall be in the race convoy somewhere on Stage 4 as I've won the British Cycling Comp a while back. Also got VIP access at the finish so hopefully I can grab some good photo's. I will post them up in the Pro Race section once finished.

I think wifey wants me to take a few hours off to go and watch the tour pass through Denbigh, I'm thinking I'll wait and see what the weather does

The forecast looks okay actually. A little windy, but if you come with us you wont feel the full force of it. Should be sunny around midday too.

I wonder if Matthew will post a vid saying how a bunch of cyclists whizzed past him so close that he had to give chase and tell them they were all riding to close and had no lights ?
I would probably have a good chance at keeping up with them, especially up the last climb. They have already done 150 miles so would definately be tired. Not sure I would be fast enough to keep up with them sprinting though.

I might see there Matthew but I have not decided yet whether to see them pass on the Pen y pass or go to LLanberis and watch the finish? Will be going in the car though. I will look out for you on your bike. What time are you setting off?

We are setting off at 8.30am and having a cafe stop in Betws. Then going to watch the race at Pen-y-Pass, then continuing through Llanberis and heading home along the coast and stopping off at the Liverpool Arms for a drink.

I will be setting off round about 10 am to hopefully get a good viewing place on the Pen y Pass or straight to LLanberis where I will have lunch with my daughter before the Tour. Still undecided which.

I live in Stoke on Trent but have to take my daughter who is eight and a half months pregnant to hospital for a scan at 9.00am and then my father in law who is eighty five to the same hospital at 11.00am for an appointment so could not see the start locally.

I also have a caravan 1.7 miles from Llanberis but doubt I could even make the finish. Just my luck out of all the days it could be in the area.
