ToB Liverpool parking

Drove straight in from the M62 and into Liverpool One car park. Acres of space, 3 minutes to the race circuit.

I had no idea there are so many scousers on here.

I cycled past earlier, and it looks lots of fun. I live near Wavertree Technology Park, just off the M62 end, and it's a good location for anyone parking and training it in. Last time there was a big event in Liverpool (the giants - so much bigger) there was a 2-3 hour queue to get back from the Train Station though, so be cautious.

I'm just starting a new commute over the river (ferry/train), does anyone do that and have any tips/preferences?

I used to take the ferry to work in Birkenhead (Hamilton Square) sometimes...if the river's too choppy the boat won't launch, otherwise it's a nice start to the day.

I've been down here since the late 90s so no expert but it looks like there's a Seacombe commuter service but not Woodside.

Well that makes sense, Woodside being an awfully inconvenient location

We parked in a hotel car park next to Lime Street station. Six pound all day so can't complain! Had a great day!

That's it, it runs to seacombe between 7:40 and 9:40 every morning, and is cheaper than the tunnel! The ferry crossing will make my morning almost every time!

I've done the ferry run a few times. It all became very civilized when they started serving coffee on board.

I'm looking forward to it - mostly. 4m into town, 10 minute ferry, 13.5m ride across the Wirral. Gonna take a bit of getting used to, but the ferry is awesome!
