I used to take the ferry to work in Birkenhead (Hamilton Square) sometimes...if the river's too choppy the boat won't launch, otherwise it's a nice start to the day.I had no idea there are so many scousers on here.
I cycled past earlier, and it looks lots of fun. I live near Wavertree Technology Park, just off the M62 end, and it's a good location for anyone parking and training it in. Last time there was a big event in Liverpool (the giants - so much bigger) there was a 2-3 hour queue to get back from the Train Station though, so be cautious.
I'm just starting a new commute over the river (ferry/train), does anyone do that and have any tips/preferences?

I've been down here since the late 90s so no expert but it looks like there's a Seacombe commuter service but not Woodside.Sounds quite pleasant do they still run the commuter service?

Are you gonna take your bike? What a brilliant commute. That's it, it runs to seacombe between 7:40 and 9:40 every morning, and is cheaper than the tunnel! The ferry crossing will make my morning almost every time!
