What a disaster. What were all those animals doing? Going to the ball together?

In Lagos you see squashed humans in the road, and I mean flat, sometimes. Heartbreaking when you think of the kids waiting at home for a Mummy or a Daddy who never comes home.

Standard stripey tabby. Someone's loved pet probably, but without any id - I stopped and checked before laying it on a grass verge.

th eother week i rode past a verge with four dead badgers on it...none of which showed any signs of road kill...just lying there dead...I suspected poison or something...pretty sad really...probably headline news in the Badger gazette

Badgers are common road kill at this time of year as they move to establish new territories. There was a fresh kill on my ride home tonight.
