I currently work for an American and I am not too suprised at the quantity. He is full of shoot.

But, another bizarre fact. A European toilet roll is about 1 cm narrower than a British one. I found this by bringing a pack of loo rolls to Italy and I find that they will not fit into the loo roll holders.
