I currently work for an American and I am not too suprised at the quantity. He is full of shoot.

But, another bizarre fact. A European toilet roll is about 1 cm narrower than a British one. I found this by bringing a pack of loo rolls to Italy and I find that they will not fit into the loo roll holders.

Have you noticed how the cardboard rolls are getting bigger nowadays as manufacturers try to cut costs?

I've noticed how the loo rolls are getting bigger but with less paper on them.
