...and will you actually be pulling them over or just clocking them on video. Can you actually use the video on its own for prosecution?

What Magnatom says?

Good luck anyway!

The amount of drivers I see on mobiles whilst driving is unbelievable - I also know two people serving bans for repeat offending.

A quid for each one you catch and you'll be a millionaire by Easter Monday .

Nice one Vike .

I guess you'll not be permitted to upload any to Youtube so we will not see the most egregious infractions ........ unless they make it onto Police Camera Action or Road Wars .

well here's hoping you don't break any laws, filter slightly too fast, ride to close to the car in front, go through an amber a split second too late, etc.

i have a real problem with people filming and reporting each other as i think it only divides people who all need to share the same tarmac.

There was something on the news recently about a South West town maybe Plymouth or Exeter getting a spy car for catching motorists flouting the law. The camera looks pretty obvious but I guess some of the people on the phone aren't concentrating that well on the road.

Have a good day at work tomorrow... knowing that we are cheering you on.

i don't really care what voab's day job... he just seems to be one of an ever growing list who seem to be riding around with a camera on their head filming other road users.

Why do you think that is?

i think its a pathetic trend from the car bashers, that sadly too many people are starting to buy into (cheaper kit probably hasn't helped).

i also think its a self fulfilling prophecy. any helmet cam sado who puts their 'all four wheelers are evil' paradigm goggles on will without fail find examples of bad driving to film and show online, promoting their own little egos at the same time.

newsflash, it's not going to make the roads magically safer!

i'm a great believer in taking things to the end result, and imagine if we all filmed and reported each other, is that somewhere we would want to live? although, if you remove the helmet cams, i'm sure there are a few examples of similar in recent history
